Four Oaks Family Farm is a local, family owned cattle farm nestled in the cozy village of Hartville, Ohio. For three generations, our family has raised grass-fed, grass-finished cattle the way cattle are supposed to be raised. Our cows and steers are grown in a humane, all natural environment with no added steroids, hormones, or other growth-promoting additives. Nurtured in quiet Northeast Ohio away from stressful feedlots where most cattle are grown, the cows lead a relaxed, stress free life on our green, eco friendly farm. As a result of such a clean and healthy habitat, our lean, premium beef is free of excess, unhealthy fats that plague the modern American diet. Less fat and better nutrients during their lifetime means that our beef is more nutritious with less calories than most grain-fed beef.
Four Oaks Farm sells only the finest, premium grass fed beef. Our grass-fed, grass-finished beef is low in fat, which is often one of the most unhealthy aspects of animal protein. Grass-fed cattle live better, healthier lives because of their natural ability to eat and digest grasses, hay, and other naturally growing wild plants common to Ohio. Health considerations aside, grass-fed beef also tastes better than meats grown on food lots where individual care cannot be afforded to individual animals.
